Study of Chinese Learners' Pedagogical Choices in Korean

Despite its limitations, the DCT can be a valuable instrument to study the relationship between prosody and information structure in non-native speakers. In the field of linguistics DCT is among the most useful tools to study the behavior of communication learners. Recent research used an DCT as a tool to assess the skills of refusal among EFL students. The MQ data was analyzed first to identify the participants' actual choices. The data were categorized according to Ishihara's (2010) definition of pragmatic resistance. Then, the choices were compared with their linguistic performance on the DCTs to determine if they reflected pragmatic resistance or 프라그마틱 정품인증 not. The results of the MQs, DCTs and z-tests were examined using descriptive statistics and z tests. The results showed that CLKs, on average, did not conform to the pragmatic norms of native speakers in more than 40 percent of their responses. They did so even though they could create native-like patterns. In addition, they were aware of their pragmatism. They attributed their decisions to learner-internal factors such as their personalities and multilingual identities as well as ongoing life experiences.
